Why Age UK Bristol approached Prolific Solutions
After becoming frustrated with the service from their previous supplier of printers and photocopiers, Age UK Bristol - the country's largest charity for senior citizens - decided to make the switch to Prolific. After a bad experience with their previous supplier, Age UK Bristol were looking for a partner to provide a professional and proactive service, where the customers needs are always put first.
What Prolific Solutions did for Age UK Bristol
After assessing Age UK Bristol’s printer and photocopier requirements, Prolific Solutions identified three key areas where improvements could be made. These included, improving efficiency; reducing monthly spend; and improving environmental impact. To achieve this Prolific Solutions introduced a print policy, staff training programme and worked with Co2 Balance to Carbon Offset the new equipment.
Working with Prolific Solutions meant Age UK Bristol not only achieved savings of 60%, but have also built a trusted and fruitful relationship with their photocopier supplier. They continue to benefit from the free training and ongoing support Prolific's team offer - which the charity says they couldn’t do without, in light of the number of volunteers that come through their office. Mark Hitchins, Age UK's Finance Manager, said, "Overall we have received a fantastic service from a local provider. They are only a phone call away and respond immediately to our queries."
